If the school cannot give students more experience about success in classroom, the students will end up refusing to learn both in and outside the school.
— Lindgren (Swedish writer of children's literature)

In most cases, it’s not that children don’t love learning, but that whenever they think about learning, they will be overwhelmed with depression and distress, which is totally uncontrollable.

If you give the children a chance to succeed, they may make a breakthrough in learning. As a result, their learning attitude will change a lot.

A scientist once performed such an experiment:

A group of children was required to attend classes together and complete homework after class.

The next day, some of the children made no mistake in their homework, and the teacher praised them for that. As a result, these children got interested in learning; however, those who didn’t get full scores started to lose interest and even get tired of learning.

If the children experience more success in learning, the “phased achievement” they made will help them go further in learning.

Join and Obtain the "Experience of Success"

At the Third Session of Shenmo Abacus Mental Math Competition held by San Diego State University, President Li Mianjun said that the greatest harvest one can get in abacus mental math practice and competition is the enthusiasm for abacus mental math aroused in the competition and the consolidation of their achievement, so that they can not only acquire a skill but also get more experience conducive to growth.

For participants, the competition enables them to challenge their actual combat ability by competing with numerous rivals at home and abroad. Even after they return home, the sense of accomplishment brought by the competition will last for a long time and will give them confidence for overcoming difficulties in life and study. For children who didn’t participate in the competition, they will regard their team member as a role model, thus urging themselves to make progress.

When a person has experienced flying high, he will never endure crawling on the ground." The experience about success is the nourishment for building childrens self-confidence.

Once the child catches and then strengthens the feeling of success, he will get accustomed to success and will never stop making it!
